Sometimes the scenery on safari just takes your breath away.
This was one of those spectacular moments.
Coming over a rise, on our way to the rhino dehorning experience at Phinda, a misty morning vista out of a timeless fantasy. Only in South Africa.
Of course we had plenty of beautiful blue sky days too, and spectacular cloud displays during our trip.
I love the safari scenery, in all the different light conditions. The trees are so sculptural.
Of course even a tranquil scene like this can contain high drama in the bush.
Can you spot the lion? I'll post more on that soon.
